Rafting on Arda river is a weekend adventure for fans of extreme rafting in Bulgaria and adventures away from civilization. Arda River is located about 4 hours from Sofia.
Saturday: The meeting is in the morning at 10.00 am at Beli Izvor, where we equip ourselves with the necessary rafting equipment - neoprene suit, neoprene shoes, helmet, jacket, PFD. We also pack food for the trip, as the rafting for the day takes about 4-5 hours, passing along a route about 25 km long. The rafting route is filled with numerous rapids, varying in difficulty and profile.
Rafting for the day ends on the Devil's Bridge. There we set up the tent camp and prepare for the evening by the fire.
Sunday: after morning coffee, we fold the tents and get on the boats. We continue our adventure on the river down, again in front of us rowing is about 4 hours, depending on the level of the river. After the rafting is complete, we return the drivers to the starting point.
